Using a TV for screen in gield

I seen a guy the other day using a flat panel tv in a suitcase for FPV. He had a 3300 mah lipo battery for power. He said it last a few hours. I have 2 flat screens. One says 14v where it plugs in and has external power brick. Can I just cut the cord and put a lipo connector to it?

Ok. 1 other question. Since car batteries are really 14+ volts when fully charged does this TV make it suitable for use connected to car battery since the hole where you plug it in at shows 14 volts?
