UK Commercial Licence

Could anyone tell me of a good channel to go down to get a drone commercial licence in the UK pls ?

The CAA require you to submit a form "SRG 1320" for permission to carry out commercial activities with a UAV/UAS in the UK. I believe once you receive your permission/exemption you'll need to renew it every 12 months.

You need a BNUC-S license. Costs about £1500 and consists of 2 day ground school with examination and a day flying examination.

EuroUSC is where I went. They were the first to start the qualification.

The two main players are EuroUSC and the Resource Group. There are, I think, 2 others. They are CAA approved organisations, and if you go through the their training program, which mvigs costs above, you are well prepared to submit an acceptable SRG 1320. ie the CAA is much less likely to find fault with your operations manual and your working protocols. This is worth the cost as the CAA is very pedantic and moves with the speed of a geriatric slug. So any fault with your submission will take some time to resolve.

I agree with what the above have said as the 2 main routes for approval, have heard good things about both. I used EuroUSC and it seems a well organised and efficient operation.
