Time-lapse video

I've heard time-lapse videos can be done does anyone know how? And also any tips and tricks on timelapse?

I'll be watching this thread with interest, I've been doing a Litchi mission over the local woodlands for the past month or so, planning to do a whole year in the ten minute flight, using 50-100 trips, I've not researched it, but it is do-able. What's your subject matter? I use Litchi as I can be assured of accurate positioning, setting the gimbal angle is a bit tricky, but I'm there or thereabouts..

I've figured it out, it has to be done with timed shots and then put it into iMovie, a lot of fussing around. I think next time I'll just tape my iPhone to my bird as it does it all for you lol
