As far as I know, it is still on track for release late 2016. Rumor has it that the drone will feature 360 degree video capability.

Yea, that's how the 'business press' is reporting it as well as of about a month ago. (Holiday season release)
Though they are dubious as to how GP will differentiate themselves from DJI, etc.
