I have never owned a drone but Mavic is really making me reconsider, simply because of how small and how easy it is to carry. Drones are never particularly exciting for me, but, man, wow, Mavic is something.
I think DJI has really set the standard for the future of drones and the potential applications for this drone is going to be amazing. Rescue workers can easily carry this drone around for surveillance. Soldiers could even carry this drone easily for recon missions. The compactness really opens up a lot of possiblities.
I can't wait to get my hands on one come October.
