I had run this path a number of times. After looking more closely at a previous run I could see I had been courting disaster. The track is plotted to the centre of the trees on the Hub but is clearly quite a bit off centre looking at the footage.

I know the GPS available to us can be inaccurate but I though once the P3 had completed the task a number of times it would be ok.

The lesson is to start high and work down ,which I had done, expect the path to possibly be more than +/- 10m out on the hub and possibly +/-3m out day to day ?

Hey Paul, on your next few tries on this mission, or any other that you run a lot, pay a lot of attention to the accuracy of your home point. Look on the map and see how close it logged home point to where the AC actually sets. I've noticed some days are more accurate than others even though I'm locked on to 15+ satellites. This may give you a hint of mission accuracy "off days"....??.....

I have noticed the HP can be out by meters. Some days the elevation can read -2m when hovering at eye level.
I haven't been adventurous enough to run that one again. I now look for gaps that are at least 50m .
Its easy to forget when you zoom in on GE or Litchi that the scale changes.
All the canola is being harvested so my soft landing areas are disappearing :)

I'd bet you could judge mission accuracy, (to a point) by this. The waypoint coordinates will stay the same regardless, but the accuracy of the mission flight "that day" could be judged by your home point accuracy. (Perhaps.. just a theory anyways) When I get more time I will test this.

Your are probably right .I don't usually check how close the HP is to the AC as long as its not way out .And again it depends on have much you are zoomed in on the map.
I always check the height since I usually have iAC coming in low.
