Can someone tell me if it worked or what went wrong?

It says success for V01.04.10 so it is ok.
You had left the firmware package on your SD card with V1.03.20 so each time it start it just check and say that it is uptodate (message "Abort").

Up to you but if you leave it then you don't have to upgrade the firmware of each of your batteries right now, the P3 will do it for you at startup, if needed.

Everything look ok? I tried switching to f but it said I can't run multiple modes at the same time.

From release note, the RC keep same version, so yes, it looks ok.
I have not tried now, the upgrade is for this evening.

You can't access the multiple modes until you enable them in the app.
Check towards the bottom here.
