Taco camera/gimbal guard?

i ordered the Taco ND multicoat filters. inside was a nice zippered case, 4 filters, and a plastic cup holder. it looks like it will protect the camera and gimbal. attaching the plastic holder and detaching it is much easier than the dji stock.
can someone confirm i dont have to use the dji stock gimbal guard?

this is the plastic cup that came with the Tacto ND package:

it seems to secure the camera ad the gimbal very well. there is no manual from Taco to confirm this though.

It's meant to replace the OEM gimbal lock. You do not need to use both.
