This photo below of the OPs product is misleading. It demonstrates how the iPad Mini will obviously cover visual sight of the built in RC telemetry display. Whoever designs these things need to DEMONSTRATE how their design WILL NOT cover the RC display, as msinger suggested with his photo of a different brand. It appears you "MIGHT" be able to turn the DJI clip upside down to accomplish adequate visual clearance, but the photo should "SHOW" it's possible, oriented properly to avoid covering the RC display.

cover screen is not a problem because all the information is on djigo. I prefer to mount like that to be a better balance once in the hands. Ergonomics is best

We'll have to wait and see what everyone prefers. You may be right, but seems odd to have redundant telemetry displays if you're correct. It's too bad DJI missed the mark on this. I won't fly with a phone display, it's just not happening.

Actually this looks pretty good, not to many options with the current design of the controller, making a phone sized iPad mount that quick connects to the controller is awesome. All of the data on the Mavic screen is duplicated on the DJI GO app so as long as you can reach the sticks OK all is good. Someone asked why the data was duplicated? what if you are flying via Wi-Fi without the controller?

Somebody out there should hack this thing. It would be perfect for the Mavic!
