Almost stepped on one at work the other day. Usually I run into 4 to 5 footers so that’s what I tend to watch for. This one was only 2 feet and almost missed him. Young ones are a bit more potent and tend to not make as much noise. The big ones tend to let you know pretty fast that they’re close by.
