Stress Cracks

Hello -

My P3A (with the updated motor / frame) started getting stress cracks under one of the motors.

Can I put glue on the crack and purchase the metal reinforcement plate? Or do I have to send in the entire drone for a new shell?

I believe that....damaged props can really accelerate stress cracks.....in the form of small nicks in the 4 fast spinning props...it's good to invest in a prop balancer not many brand new OEM Dji props are very slightly out of balance.....but a few are...and ones that are they only accelerate the vibes in the engine pods that lead to stress cracks....Im not sure IF adding the plate will help out now....as far as having to send it in....I think Dji will replace the frame....a few times during the years warranty......May be some one thats had to have that done can answer that question.

Also and I have done it several times as it’s not a major
thing just change the shell yourself and save money.
Plenty of YT’s on it.
