Status LED moving for night flights

So the other day I was completing my Night Flight Waiver request with the FAA and thought, why doesn't DJI place the Status LED (red and green) on the aircraft like a regular airplane? Red on the right side and Green on the left. How hard is it to make this type of swap? With drones becoming more popular will the makers of them move the Status LED into this type of configuration or should they? Just thinking here

IMHO that would possibly encourage or imply to many that it is ok to fly at night with these Phantoms (2, 3 or 4) when it is illegal most places round the world to fly at night (safety). Obviously waiver / exemptions aside as they are not the norm.

The color has to be different from a drone and commercial airline or private plane so other pilot could see it

Red is on the left, green is on the right, same as boats.
