Startup problem

I just assembled my phantom 2 and was going through my initial flight procedures.

I turned on my controller and battery and did a flight calibration. I had slow flashing yellow indicators.

I have tried turning it on again but after powering the remote, I am not having any luck turning on the battery. After pressing, then pressing for two seconds, I am only getting a level reading. The flight indicators don't do anything and the battery goes off after showing the levels.

I have tried pulling the batteries but no luck.

Any suggestions?

To turn on the battery it is one quick press followed by a long press.

Yes ,that is what I was doing. I pulled all batteries and put them back and it is working now.
