Just linked up a new Version 2 transmitter to my Version 1 phantom. Everything seems to work great with one quirk.

With the old transmitter the H3-3D set to the position I had left the lever on the rear of the transmitter as expected,

With the new transmitter it always starts with the camera pointing at the ground. The wheel works perfect. I was just wondering if this was normal. I would prefer to have it pointing straight ahead but can live with this if it's normal.

Thanks.

Mine is a V2 and came with that controller and it stops at about 45*.

Since it didn't come up, you did calibrate the wheel, right?

yes, did the calibration. On the rcgroups there are post all over the place about it pointing down or 45 degrees like yours. A DJI guy was on there and said they were looking at it but then came the Phantom 3 and they quit responding. I guess all updates for the 2's are done with the exception of any new no-fly zones. It's not a big deal.
