Splash Down in the River

Lost it in the sun and was within inches of losing my P3 to the river. Caught it just as the legs splashed down and pulled up. Glad my instincts were right on what maneuver was needed. Practicing paid off.

Glad you caught it! How did this happen? Was it descending on it's own? Surely you must have seen it descending and seen the height sink the DJI Go app.

I was trying to do to much. Pilot overload. Gimble....camera...location. Was trying to get a shot of my boys on the rocks. Total pilot error.
