Hi guys

I own both the Mavic and P4Pro, P4Pro for video. Used it for taking images and noticed that my Mavic takes sharper images.

Tried auto focus, manual focus, the whole lot. all the way through f stop range.

Here is example of images taken at:
First photo (ocean and rocks)
1/160 sec at f2.8 & f3.2

No FIlters.

Removed firmware on both drone and controller and re-installed the latest.

Video on the other hand is super sharp...

Any idea?

At the size those images are viewable, they appear to be sharp.
I'm not sure that there is a problem.

You may be confusing actual resolution and focus accuracy with apparent sharpness- that is camera image style settings are different for the mavic and phantom.

Your samples seem to be fine.

Do you have the mavic samples to share?

Thank you. I sold the mavic and started using the P4Pro, just found it to be a general impression of sharper images on Mavic. I will play around with sharpness settings on P4Pro. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Kind regards

I will play around with sharpness settings on P4Pro.
Your subject matter isn't the best for showing sharp focus.
Something with flat, hard surfaces is ideal for checking sharpness, rather than the soft ruffles water surface or the fine broken texture of those rocks.
You shouldn't need to fiddle with the settings.
I have mine on 0, 0, 0 and find I get good results.

Check the fine detail on the ribbed steel of the containers.

Thank you, understood. Perhaps this is better examples, shot at f4.5 1/200sec: Buffels - Google Drive
