I wouldn't argue against a small retailer charging a restocking fee for a non-faulty open-box return, but the wording on their returns page seems to say that there is a restocking fee even if the item is new and unopened. Fair or not, that just isn't very competitive with the other options.
Well I can get support and a live person on the phone there. Is sending it back in opened even an option? Who does that?
Well FWIW many/most vendors have an 'open but like-new' return privilege (DJI, Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, etc.)

I thought about that but the "promises" are in wide ranges and they get pushed out everytime so it is difficult to track.
Not really sure why one would make that speculation. The only thing known for sure is that your ship date will either be:
1. Extended because you ordered the Fly More package.
2. Shortened because you ordered the Fly More package.
3. No change as a result of having ordered the Fly More package.
I can guarantee you it will be one of these, so your odds are 2 out of 3
Yep. Who knows. I also ordered with the Mavic a Osmo Mobile, tripod, extender, 3 Mavic batteries, charging hub and other accessories. So if more is better, maybe I get consideration. If more is worse, maybe it will be my Christmas present. [emoji33]

I had ordered an extra battery for the Mavic which was scheduled to be delivered by the 12th. I got a package in the mail today with an apology letter stating they made a mistake and they won't beable to ship the batter until the new estimated delivery date of early November. They also sent me a free "Phantom" quadcopter. Which I though was pretty cool.

They also sent me a free "Phantom" quadcopter. Which I though was pretty cool.
I ordered on Newegg from DJI Marketplace and have received 2 confirmation emails (they even called from China!) to say my order will ship on the 18th from China.
Maybe just the initial promise and then the actual.. no need to record the in between promises

The shipping dates for the batteries and props say 20--25 business days though!

I also ordered some extra stuff, I hope they ship separately. Probably not though, so really hope they have an adequate inventory on launch day.
Did you put the batteries and props on the same order? In hindsight, I should have ordered them separately.
