Skids extenders to help with tipovers.

I just did an easy mod to help with tipovers on landing and takeoffs.

I did the same thing and they worked out great. The only problem was that I could see the tips in my videos, so I reinstalled them right to left rather than fore and aft. Mine are styrene tubes installed with nylon zip ties.

Before I made my first flight with my FC40 I had put on 25cm pieces of white plastic 10mm wide U-profile bought at the local DIY store which fit the width of the landing skids exactly. I positioned them so at the front they are just outside camera view. They stick out 43mm at the front and 77mm at the rear. I used some thick clear adhesive tape for outdoors use I happened to have bought a few months ago to stick them on. Works like a charm.
