The wind farm of Sines is the oldest in continental Portugal. It´s the oldest in operation since the first (in the Azores) has been disabled.
It consists of 12 wind turbines of 150 kW / each and was built in 1990. It belongs to the firm "Wind Turbine Portugal S.A." and it is connected directly to the network of E.D.P. The wind turbines are installed on towers 30 meters in height and diameter of your propeller is 28 meters, the maximum output of each unit is 150 Kw / hour.
