not sure where you're looking at them, but you can leave that part alone.

those are channels on the receiver . U relates to the GPS/ATTI switch
while the X1 and X2 are extra channels used to control an optional accessory (like a gimbal)

ah,. glad you caught your mistake.

also be sure to keep prop nuts on tight!!

X1 and X2 can be connect to the TX with lever or knob so that you can change the Gain setting on the fly.
However, now you can do that with Phantom TX plus the gadget below:
