as anyone tried to send just a phantom battery to Dji in netherlands from the uk as all the couriers i have tried don't allow just a battery to be posted any ideas

many thanks

How do they know it's a battery?
I'm in th UK, I have been pricing sending a copy battery back to the Chinese seller who mis-sold it to me.
Go on Parcel2go.com. You only have to put destination, weight and dimensions in and you'll be given lots of price options. I've found Parcel2go pretty reasonable. In most instances they'll collect it from your door.

The reason they refuse is Lipo batts could explode in a decompressed gargo hold of a plane. Your choice is send back by sea or take it as carry on lugage . I'm sure you will regret a plane being lost because you have broken the rules. There has already been one major incident caused by Lipo batts in Dubai a few years ago.
