Phantom 4 pro : Ok ... I don’t have Dji care . Any experience with this situation would be greatly appreciated. Today I hit a cable line sending my drone to its spiraling death into the concrete . Shell is trashed two propeller motors for sure trashed . Gimbal still shows clear but motor noise when I try moving it . My questions : if I send to Dji to fix :
1) will they pick apart gimbal and fix what’s needed ? Or want to replace whole camera piece ?
2) if I have a drone to send in to be fixed would it be cheaper fixing my drone or buying a refurbished one ?
3) anyone know the maximum of what they might charge ? Or have idea of what will be charged from experience?

DJI's basic policy is $65 to diagnose and price a non-warranty repair.
If you opt to go with the repair, they forego that. If not, pay the $65 and they return it to you.

I’m wondering if repair fees ever go over the price of buying a new one . I will get pictures soon as I get to tha casa
