Seahawk attack!

Yesterday this guy was not happy with my Mini 2. He struck me 3 times before I got away. No damage to my Mini but it did crash the IMU in flight.
I still managed to control it back and land without losing it.
My video is at Dana Point CA via drone. Around to 2 min mark is when I was attacked.

That hawk was in no mood to take prisoners, so your drone's escape was lucky indeed. You might have to avoid flying in that area because Mr. Talon will be loaded for bear next time.

That's an Osprey ... a fairly large bird and easily able to dispatch something the size of a Mini.

I never had any problems with Seahawks. I had one checking out my drone one day and when I flew towards him, he flew away. Put reflective tape on your drone. That way you don't look like a bird for them to come after.
