Ok a little unscientific test I just did with my two Sandisk 64 GB cards, extreme plus is U3 A1, extreme pro is U3 A2
Both transfer from micro SD to computer is the upper 160 to low 170 MB/s (fluctuates slightly during actual transfer).
I can write from computer to extreme pro at upper 90 MB/s (fluctuates) and can write to extreme plus in the 80 MB/s range.
I can transfer files from my desktop to desktop at 1.7 GB/s. It’s a NVME SSD.
I use the extreme plus in my spark, extreme pro in my
P4P.
Hope that helps. Sorry for crappy pics of my desktop as the files are transferring, but just trying to add some actual real world tests to this thread. I was transferring 5 GB of data, which was what I got from a job I did recently. So I guess if i would change cards between jobs (I don’t), the 64GB is overkill. I did almost hit 32 GB one day so I got the 64 just to be in safe side. Cheap insurance. These are way cheaper than my camera’s CF cards of similar speed.
