Reverting to previous firmware

Is it possible to go back from the newest installed firmware to the previous one on the Phantom 3?

I believe you can, but will be annoyed by repeated reminders to update your firmware.

I left the original firmware on one sd card and updated from a new card just for that reason.

Incorrect, you will get "the firmware is older or same as current" message if you try to load the older bin.
