Replacing the Controller Antenna

So was reading on the forum about antennas for the wireless and I see the huge square thing that Uncle Fester is using and may order one but I also thought what about the antenna for the controller perhaps get a bigger antenna and thus better signal

was looking at this

Can the Antenna in the controller be changed.. is it just a screw on type?
I have not looked inside my controller yet (just got my vision) so I have to update it but want to do everything at one time including a USB extension etc so I don't have to crack open the controller again...




was also thinking of using a longer antenna for the wireless just to see if there is a difference between

will see what happens with that... the first one is just a straight antenna which would be much easier to transport...




so can the antenna on the main controller be changed easily?

I just opened mine to see how to get to the USB port and it is not a screw in type, a wire would have to be spliced for a different antenna

No expert here, but antenna length may be specific to wave length????? Just a thought!
