Has anybody figured out how to remove the plastic covers that are on the inside of the landing gear up against the drone that must be removed to unscrew the landing gear without tearing up both the covers and the landing gear? There is an older thread concerning a hunt for a source of replacement covers, but it appears that they can only be purchased along with a replacement set of landing gear. That thread is here:

I have gotten the covers off in the past with a small screwdriver, but not before damaging both the covers and the landing gear itself. I am really wondering if anybody has found a technique to avoid that damage when removing the covers.
