remote won't link

Pair your phone/tablet to your controllers wifi then open the DJI go app. It should prompt you that a new firmware is ready. Look for a blue bar.

You have to tap the blue bar that says update available then push the button that says update

Ok I got my remote to link to my standard but I can only control the camera gimbal pitch thru the app and not with the controller. I'm now stumped again. I have a green light on my controller but still have a red light on the link button on the drone.

Firmware. Update the firmware on the controller and you will be good to go.

Hey guys, I'm having similar problems with linking my remote to the drone. My controller won't link but i can control the gimbal and start the motors. if I can't update the firmware from the app is there a way to update it manually ?
Thanks for the help.
