I hate to bother you guys but it seems some of you to be a master of dronage
I purchased a phantom 3 pro from a buddy last week, I charged it all up and it linked up and everything worked perfect
Until I decided to update firmware and that’s where the disaster started
My controller(gl300c) won’t power up
Unless I press c1/shutter together What’s happens is 2 solid white and 3rd flashing which than allows me to push once and again it beeps and powers up , now it has a blue light with 2 solid whites and a 3rd white flashing it’s stuck in this mode and nothing can be done, tried linking with 2 different iPhones as well as an iPad , checked the USB cord, obviously it’s from the update, I spent many days reading forums and trying everything people suggest but with no luck am I screwed? Thanks for your time
Jon

Try this method,,,this is hard reset of remote, also are you able to open app at home page before connecting, there is 3 black lines top right of screen ,,press and hold and another screen comes up with any available firmware versions ,,if unsure ,,I post some pics to help you find

you should get screen like this but with all powered on drone and remote you should have version there to choose

This is the screen I get with no options of pressing or selecting a download

I never fixed any gl300c.

The only thing you can try without tapping into specific modules on the board is the method with starting the RC into bootloader mode and then flashing it from Go3 app. @ianzone already described that method, more or less.

There is also a log on the mobile device somewhere which should explain at which point (which module) the update has failed.

If the RC isn't able to re-flash itself in bootloader mode, you just have to open it and tap to serial interfaces to figure out what happened. Noone shared any experience with that, no specifics are known.
