Rebinding the controller each flight

My Phantom2Plus works great but recently when flying with a buddy with another Phantom, I started seeing that I had to turn off the controller, push the reset button on the PH2+ and rebind it each time I wanted to fly. Though my friend would turn his controller off and I was the only active one, I would still have to go through the rebinding sequence each time I shut down the copter and do the rebind. Any idea what might be forcing this to happen? I checked for latest firmware, but nothing seems to eliminate the issue. Once launched, everything is fine, and the Phantom shuts down as it should. On the regular start-up control stick sequence though, it fails and I have to run through the instructions for rebinding.

Normally once it is bound it reconnects automatically. Just make sure the power is good. If it keeps dropping then Their is a hardware problem.
