RC image problem

I got a brand new Phantom 4 RC since my last one was faulty. This new controller unfortunately also seems to have a problem. The RC does connect to the drone and the RC does show the green light. I can control the drone fully via the RC. Even the distance sensors shows up but the image feed is absolutely horrible. The image shown on my Iphone 7 is either green with a narrow and pixelated strip at the top or completely black.


I know that the problem is the RC itself since I have recently flown my drown with my friends controller without any problems at all. The drone, my cables and my phone is fine!


This is what I have tried this far:

• Downgraded and upgraded the RC firmware
  
  
• Linking the RC with the drone couple of times
  

What else can I do to solve this problem?

And did you also fly with your friends device on your controller to verify that?

I am not an Apple device user, but have seen many threads on issues with the latest IOS.

Check the usb module of RC if all other options are exhausted.

No I did fly with my (same) iPhone 7
