So here's a quick and dirty side by side of the JPG versus the new RAW files on the P2V. Keep in mind that I didn't have time to really do anything with the RAW file so any noise that's present can easily be dealt with in CameraRAW. What's interesting is if you look at the JPG, it is so heavily compressed that it almost looks like an illustration whereas the RAW has a softer look but with way more color and detail information. You have the option to sharpen it non-destructively in CameraRAW to the desired look. With a JPG, it's already baked in so you are stuck with it.
