Purchased a 2nd hand Phantom - Wont bind to transmitter

Ok so I bought a Phantom on ebay, came with loads of extra batteries and an unopened transmitter (seller said the old one was lost).

Phantom Model is: P330D V1.1.1
The Transmitter model is: SR6

I have located the bind/sync button in the battery hold and when I press it, it flashes for 2 seconds before going solid red again. I have tried pushing throttle to down etc.. no luck.

Any at all help would be greatly appreciated, it looks like an expensive fail so far

You need a DJ6 controller. The SR6 is for the older model Phantom 1. I bought one of these on eBay, good deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DJI-Phantom-2-D ... 233b01b4b2
