Propellors, how long do they last before replacing them

I was wondering when to replace the props in order to be safe. Obviously I don't want to face sudden prop failure in mid air.

Any thoughts on this?

Lots of variables, how you store them is probably as important as how much they are used.
You should be looking at them before each flight for any sign of cracks especially near the hub.
In average use and no crashes a year or more should be fine.

Props are just like a good lady, treat them right with love and kindness and they be around for a long time. Just don't store them in the sunlight or harsh environments.
