Programmable Flight?

Hey all, Been flying my Phantom for a few weeks now. I am curious as to if there is a way to have the Phantom fly a programmed route. Perhaps a circle pattern?

That'd be a neat trick.

I'd also love to see an update to the FC40 software to see altitude and other data on screen.

I wish, but as i understand, the included camera does not have GPS capabilities. Therefore, it is unable to know direction, speed, altitude, etc. It could give a very rough estimate based upon the wifi network, but the data readout would be within the 600ft wide circle that comprises the wifi range. It would be absolutely inaccurate.

This is what Ground Station is for and if you purchase it and add it on, you can accomplish this.
