Problems from removing battery without turning off battery

Hi, I accidentally removed the battery on my P4P without turning it off first...is that going to cause any issues?? I turned it off once it was out of the P4P, and later tried it in the aircraft and both drone and battery seem ok. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Mate have done it a number of times myself with no ill effects.

As you say no issues for now.
But anyway it is not recommended to do so. It has no point at all because you cut off the power to the drone either way.
