Haven't got out enough with it but I took these two the other night!
Still a pretty nice capture. With my luck I would probably hit the wind sock frame even with all that wide open space.![]()
Not much to shoot at this particular location...
Cool comps. What were your exposure settings for these?Haven't got out enough with it but I took these two the other night!
Were these taken in The Blue Hour? I just found out about it being the hour after sunset and the hour before sunrise and is really stunning light for photography.Haven't got out enough with it but I took these two the other night!

Yes they were, I didn't actually plan on taking anything in that hour. I had just got to the beach too late. It was daylight when I left. Were these taken in The Blue Hour? I just found out about it being the hour after sunset and the hour before sunrise and is really stunning light for photography.
Thanks for posting this.
Is this just one image or a combination of images?
Thanks for the reply. Your photo is so sharp and detailed. I don't think my PHP photos are that detailed and sharp.
Nice! Recognized the skyline right away. Very cool to see Kitt Peak telescopes in the distance. That speaks nicely of the capabilities of the camera.

My 2nd attempt at low light photos with the P4P.
This is straight from the camera apart from noise reduction. Single JPEG in Tripod mode. Wind was about 2m/sec.
I used Manual mode in the camera. My first attempt resulted in massive amounts of noise at ISO 1600 & 3200 which was very noticeable in the very dark areas and completely unusable to my eye. Is this the experience if other people? Online reviews seem to say 1600/3200 should be perfectly usable?
