Phone Controls Lock Up Only When SD Card is Inserted

My uncle handed me down his Phantom 3 Pro. I used it on a trip in Iceland, and it worked great (video for the curious). Now I'm on vacation in Arizona and trying to use it. However, I'm having issues. Whenever the SD card is inserted the app locks up. I can still see the live video, but a lot of the onscreen indicators disappear and it's unresponsive to my touch.

However, if I force quit the app and remove the SD card, everything works fine.

I upgraded my phone to the iPhone X and iOS 11.1, so I thought maybe it's related to that, even though they list the X on the compatibility page.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do? I've updated the firmware and the app. I formatted the SD card on my computer. No luck yet.

Have you tried different cards?
Different mobile device?
Are inserting the card while the Phantom is already turned on? (Don't do that.)

Welp, that did it. Tried a new SD card, no luck. Went out and got a Galaxy Tab and it works with that. Thanks so much!
