I need to replace the camera and don't want to spend $ 600. Is there a secondary market or other alternatives??

None that are cheap. You might pick up a used one from eBay for around 3-350 bucks. Good luck. How badly damaged is yours? Repairs might be cheaper.

Stick your gopro to it till you can afford a new one you loose the video feed but can fly and video

thank you. the camera does not stay still, gets really hot and have no picture in my phone device. I am agraid the repair would be as high as buying one.
