Phantom unable to maintain hoover.

Hi guys, new to this forum.
I'm having an issue with my phantom. I recently added a Tarot gimbal with gopro hero3, and tall landing gear to my phantom and now it will not maintain altitude. it will erratically throttle up on it's own or slowly lower itself to the ground. These are issues I never experienced before adding the gimbal and landing gear.

Anyone know how to resolve this???
 
You should always calibrate the compass after making a HW change. Did you do that? Did you move the compass?

I did do the calibration "dance" got the lights showing 7 green flashes.
I did move move the compass onto the new "tall landing gear"

I have a P2. I'm not familiar with the 7 green flashes, maybe that's a P1 thing. Is the compass on the same leg?
