Phantom three pro question

I fly using the DJI app The highest I can set my distance and altitude is 500 m around 1600 feet. Is there someway to bypass this to get more distance. Thanks for any help

Perhaps disable the "enable max distance" setting in the app. That setting is used to limit distance by setting a max up to 500M. If you disable it, there is no max distance set and you can go beyond 500M.

Sorry I had the max distance enabled all good now I can live with the altitude at 500 m

No worries. That question is asked often due in part to the wording of that option.

And the max altitude of 500m is max you can get ... for any P3 ...

Note that altitude is referenced to the take-off point which is taken as zero. It does not follow rise and fall of terrain.

Please keep in mind that 500m is over 1600 ft., well out of line of sight and the legal altitude of 400 ft.
