Phantom serial no.

I notice in the assistant software there's a place to put the serial no. If I do that will it change my setting in the software? My fc40 is a dream to fly and I don't want to change anything!

I would not enter the serial number. What could you gain when your fc 40 is currently flying as a dream??? Therefor I would not take the risk.
