I have the ones that are aluminum, one piece with clips to keep the antennas vertical. Do you think the copper is better?

No, the range won't be any better from what I learned from RF GUY in this forum. Aluminum or copper, they have same reflection properties, and my aluminum versions perform the same as my copper. The aluminum could even have holes in it, like your microwave oven (also 2.4Ghz), it can still reflect the signals just fine. The copper just looks cool, and that's important, right? So from an aesthetic point of view it might be better, but that's all.
