Phantom 4 Pro v2 never connect with the DJI Assistant

Hi

I have phantom 4 pro v2.0 and I’m trying to connect to the DJI assistant and it’s not working. I tried changing the cables and the computer but I still seem to get the same problem. Is anyone else having the same issue as me

You need to download Assistant 2 for Phantom.

On main downloads page for P4 vr2

Connects but you won’t be able to do anything. Can’t see current firmware or pull flight data. DJI claims this is because firmware is still base level.

I’m all ready download the latest dji Assistant 2v 1.2.4 but never connect with the DJI Assistant
I know there is no update or new firmware for p4p v2 but the main problem with it that I cannot connect my p4p v2 with the DJI Assistant

You need “ Assistant 2 for Phantom”. Vr 2.0.0
Note the name. It will load with this name as a new program.

Totally different program than “ Assistant 2”

Go to the download page specific to Phantom 4 Pro Vr 2.0. It’s only under this and the Pro + Vr2.

Assistant 2 for Phantom is a different piece of software.

Not sure of DJI logic on this.

I was able to pull flight data from mine.

The data viewer works as well.

No firmware listed like you said though.

There is some sort of weird way that the program changes how the computer views the drone. It switches back and forth between the built in log storage location and the external sd card. There is an obscure message about this on the boxes that pop up when one changes the selection to whatever one is trying to do. On my computer I can see it switching cards. It even assigns the different drive letters.

It says something about restarting the drone to get it to flip modes.

Maybe your problem ?

Ps. I am using version 2.0 of the “Assistant 2 for Phantom 2.0”

Boy DJI really made that confusing!
