I’ve never owned a phantom that was produced prior to a P4. EVERY phantom series past a P3 is a plastic body. I have had all of them, with the exception of the RTK model, completely torn apart. There is a significant difference between plastic and metal and not difficult for me to distinguish.
As to what DJI publishes, that is an entirely different subject that can, at times, become laughable.
