Phantom 3 won't hover

I have upset something with my usually reliable P3 Standard. Previous flights have been fine but now it won't hover and is uncontrolable when it takes off and I don't know why. Calibrated the compass and it updates the home point as usual, yellow lights turn to green so all seems normal. Both toggle switches on the handset are presently in the middle and I can't decide which position they should now be in. Gratefull for any advice, thanks

You need to read the manual and understand the switches and your controller. Not knowing what they do is a big mistake.

The switches S1 and S2 should be in upper position.

Momentary brain fade, away from home with my drone without the manual just needed quick advice to get me underway again.
