Phantom 3 - the aerial panorama machine

I've been wanting to go back to this site since I got the P3 to try it out but since it's an hour's drive I waited until I had my second battery to make it more worthwhile.
12 image 50 megapixel panorama of the mouth of the Noosa River.
This is possibly the best panorama I've done yet and should easily print to 2.5 metres wide.
It's outstanding on a big 4K monitor.

Yeah.... The only thing I can say is that pictures like this make me very angry I can barely understand what an f-stop is......
Fantastic example of what a real pro can do with a Phantom....

And another from today - an 11 image panorama from nearby.

Having the shutter button on the controller makes it like using a real camera.
Thumb on the left stick rotating the Phantom a little for each and clicking with a finger on the right.
Rotate click - rotate click - rotate click.
It's so much easier doing this with the P3 than the P2.
It would take a lot longer to line up the frames and take the images and out 600 metres it would lose signal and start to come home when I was nearly done.
I was lucky to get three attempts on a big panorama per battery and maybe one would be complete.

You're doing all of these from a single point? Or are you flying to different location and stitching them together?

How far as you rotating around? 180 degrees?
