hi all please bare with me i have just updated my phantom 3 standard it was working fine before i did this it will now not link to the controller i do get a green light on the rc but not the ac i have tried and tried to link by pressing the link button tried in the dji go app and the normal way...

Below is a link to the button people have ordered here when their link button has fallen off of their Standards. If not available or if you can't access the site (you don't say where you are located), at least you know the correct size to search for one elsewhere.

P3 Standard Link Button Replacement?

So my P3 recently took a tumble, most of which i've replaced, not too bad damage, BUT I need to re-synch my controller to the aircraft and MY LINK BUTTON IS GONE. Does anyone know of any place I could get a replacement button/connection to mount it back to the motherboard, or should I just look...

Just drill a larger hole?

The plastic part just pushes the button on the board. Don't really need the plastic part. Flashlight and a tooth pick would work .
