Phantom 3 remote compatability

Have a phantom 4 and phantom3. Can I use controller from the phantom 4 on the phantom 3?

Nope, I don't think you can trade any remote with any Phantom, maybe Advanced and Pro?

Thank you for the info on remote. I just flew the 3 for the first time today and it just doesn't feel right. I Love the 4 and thought I could interchange with no great cost involved. Just 5 mins flying time on Phantom 3 and time to sell.

Yes you can.

When my P4 remote went bad I just resynced (binded) the P3P remote to it. Then when I wanted to fly the P3P I just synced it to it.

Did this for about 3 weeks till the new P4 remote arrived.

*edit* I might have mis spoke if you have the P3 standard. I don't know that remote.

Tried syncing the 3 to the p4 controller and it just kept flashing for a half hour then I gave up. Pushed the reset button and nothing

Yes it is P3 standard and that is the issue I think.

Just put it on EBay. Two days old...lol

Yes, that is the issue. Only the P3S remote controller is compatible with the P3S.

Shouldn't the phantom 3 4k remote be compatible as they operate on the same frequencies, unlike how the p3a and up use light bridge ?

Hey, thanks anyway, I will have an answer for P4 - P3P!
Off topic or maybe not, can two Phantoms be linked to the same remote, example your P3P, P4. For some reason I thought you wouldn't have to re-link every time, but I guess I'm wrong, the mac address or something from the Phantom must be stored in the remote.
