If it's your first drone, at that price and if it includes everythinig to fly; absolutly. Get experience then get one of the newer DJI drones....if they aren't all banned by then.

No, at minimium you need the Phantom 4 Pro V2 worth the extra money to get this drone.

If you were replacing a Phantom 3 series drone and have existing batteries etc. it might be worth it but if you are just starting out I would look at one of the Mini drones like the Mini 2 SE ($279) or the Mini 3 ($335). They are new with full warranties and support.

Generic batteries are still available. I just purchase a new PowerExtra battery off Amazon.ca for my Phantom 3 Standard.

If you like big drones stick with the P4 series. They're available at very reasonable cost and batteries will be available for quite a while longer. P3P was a good drone but not good enough anymore, unless you already own one.
Hey I just got one of the Phantom 3 standards and I'm just wondering which app do I need to download there's so many different messages online if you guys can help me out I'd really appreciate it it was a gift from a friend of mine you got a new drone so yeah
The Phantom 3 Standard uses DJI GO which you can download from Apple’s App Store for iOS or directly from DJI for Android. You can also use Litchi which is excellent but you have to purchase it for your platform of choice.
